The farm, located at 1799 Templeton Road in Templeton, Ca will be open to visitors from 1-4 pm on Saturday June 4th. The 52 acre farm lies along the banks of the Salinas River and features 10 acres of irrigated pasture, a state -of-the-art 24 stall center aisle barn, a 35,000 square foot covered riding arena, a 20 x 30 meter oval horse exerciser, and a mile long perimeter trail. These facilities are being brought together to satisfy the growing need for a first class horse breeding, training and sales farm in San Luis Obispo County.

150 Community Members March Across the Finish Line. Breakaway Mile led by Deleena Rankin, local Breakaway from Cancer Champion
The Breakaway Mile is a special walk of 150 community members including cancer survivors, patients, caregivers, and advocates. Prior to the professional finish of Stage 5 of the Amgen Tour of California, the Breakaway Mile crosses the finish line to honor the millions of cancer survivors worldwide and celebrates scientific innovations.

Uncertain Weather Conditions Necessitate New Start Location and Time
Stage 2 Start Now Scheduled for 12:15 p.m. PT in Nevada City, California
Nevada City, Calif. (May 16, 2011) – Due to uncertain weather and road conditions, race organizers have determined that the best way to ensure a complete course for Stage 2 of the 2011 Amgen Tour of California is to move the official start to 12:15 p.m. PT today to a location on Broad Street in Nevada City, California. Today’s start was originally scheduled to take place in Squaw Valley, California.

Race Draws Top Cyclists, Including Three-Time Champion Levi Leipheimer
LOS ANGELES (May 11, 2011) – The preliminary start list* for the 2011
Amgen Tour of California has been announced by AEG, presenter of the
race. A world-class roster of more than 140 riders from 18 elite cycling
teams are set to compete in the sixth-annual Amgen Tour of California,
which kicks off this Sunday, May 15, in Lake Tahoe. The race will cover
nearly 800 miles of picturesque California roadways and highways from May 15 –
22.
