Grand Marshal Announced for Paso Robles Labor Day Car Show
VIP Lounge Seats Still Available
PASO ROBLES, CA – Organizers of the Paso Robles Classic Car Weekend taking place this Labor Day weekend from September 2-4 have announced that the Grand Marshal of the Friday night cruise is local celebrity and KSBY newscaster and SLO County native Jeanette Trompeter.
"I'm thrilled to be part of thus fun Paso Robles show,” states Trompeter. “Being around these classic old cars is a thrill. I have such an appreciation for the time and effort the owners have put into restoring them to their original glory...and how they are providing these sentimental links to our past. The cars bring back memories that can fade without reminders. To attend a cruise like this is to take a step back in time and I love that. Especially getting to ride in a classic Ford Fairlane!"
Trompeter will kick off the Friday night cruise from a convertible Ford Fairlane, a favorite of classic car collectors and an early predecessor to muscle cars. Trompeter and the Fairlane will lead the cruise, which runs from 6:00-9:00 pm on Spring Street between 4th and 16th. Approximately 300 registered vehicles from the year 1979 and prior will be participating in the cruise. There are still a small number of seats left in the VIP Lounge for the cruise, the public may purchase tickets for $100 each, all proceeds go to fund the Classic Car Weekend.
Vehicle registration is open until Friday, September 2nd and is open to all cars built in 1979 and prior. For more information go to www.visitpaso.com.

It must be really interesting to watch classic displays. It always amazes me to see restored old vehicles.
