Exhibition September 2-4, 2011
Opening Party right after the Friday night cruise from 8-10pm with beer tasting by Firestone-Walker Brewery and sounds by DJ Dionysius.
If you relish the smell of exhaust and the sounds of a straight pipe beauty revving, you’ll love the collection of work being shown at Vale Fine Art the weekend of the 2011 Paso Robles Classic Car Show weekend. This weekend only, Vale Fine Art will be hosting "High Octane," a special viewing of the work of celebrated LA artist and Paso Robles resident E.W. Wilcox on Saturday and Sunday during the Paso Robles Annual Car show with an opening reception on Friday night from 8‐10 sponsored by Firestone‐Walker Brewery. Madeline Vale, owner of Vale Fine Art says, "Edward’s predominant medium is tar and his dark and edgy themes have always resonated with the kind of person that loves hot rods and all things fast and kind of scary. I’m looking forward to a really fun show, it certainly won’t be boring."
Regular gallery hours Thursday through Sunday 12pm – 9pm or by appointment.

That looks pretty edgy. Depending on the theme, car shows can vary from event to event. All in all it's great to see such different customizations among automobiles.

The art does seem like a good fit with the style and feel of hot rods and other custom cars. It seems like a pretty fun event, and it would be nice to see a crossover of that art style and the automobiles...
