Gary and Junie Cooper (pictured) are the first recipients of the Woodland Auto Display Choice of Show Award for the WWW4 car show for their 1947 Triumph 1800 Roadster. Their names are engraved on the perpetual trophy which is on display in the Woodland Building along with their photo.

The 9th Annual Paso Robles Olive Festival, a Paso Robles Main Street Association event, will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Paso Robles Downtown City Park (Free Admission and fee for wine and beer tasting only). There will also be a Social Mixer held the evening before (Friday, August 17, 2012, from 6 to 8 pm) at La Quinta Inns (Tickets are $25.00) featuring gourmet hors d’oeuvres, local wines and winners of our Olive Oil Tasting Competition and an opportunity to met the olive growers.

The Pre-Pioneer Day Dance will be Sept. 22, 2012 at the Paso Robles Event Center

Along with generous donations from individuals and businesses, the Pre-Pioneer Dance is the primary fundraiser for Pioneer Day and the restoration and maintenance of the historic tractors, wagons and farm equipment that belongs to this community. This year is the 82 yr. Anniversary of a tradition that honors the pioneer families of Paso Robles and the surrounding areas. Pioneer Day is October 6, 2012 The parade begins at 10AM.and runs down Spring St and half way around the park.

There are two new great cars now on display in Paso Robles: The 1978 inaugural World of Outlaws Sprint Car and the Tony Stewart NASCAR Sprint Cup display car.

Premier Wine and Cigar event rated #1 on the West Coast benefits Project Manana

For the fourth year in a row premium wine, craft beer, and cigars will be featured at Crush & Roll West, rated the #1 Wine and Cigar Event on the west Coast by Cigar Snob Magazine. Hundreds are expected to turn out September 14 and 15 at the Paso Robles Fairgrounds to taste the best wine, beer, and cigars in the world. Wineries represented are among the best on the Central Coast with representation from Paso Robles to Santa Barbara.

On June 12 and 13, 2012, the California Mid-State Fair hosted the tenth annual Central Coast Wine Competition. The Central Coast Wine Competition featured over 550 Central Coast Wines in the largest evaluation event for wines grown exclusively on the Central Coast.
